Schwalbe has updated their evolution line tires with a number of new casings, which make it easier to choose the right tire for exactly what you need it for.

The tire here is part of Schwalbe's Super Ground series, which is an all-around series. This type of casing is made to feel comfortable whether you are riding on a single track or out riding on dirt roads.

With Super Ground tires you get the perfect combination of low weight, rolling resistance, and puncture protection.

The outermost layer of the casing consists of a layer of snakeskin, which protects against punctures. On top of that, there is a 3-layer rubberized material that runs across the tire from edge to edge. This layer helps to stiffen the tire. Finally, there is a layer of protection along the rim, which ensures that the tire adheres closely to the rim and improves its ability for a tubeless setup.
