Sale of physical goods online 

These terms and conditions apply to consumers’ purchases on Bikable.com.  

Bikable.com is owned by the Danish company Bikable A/S and therefore follows Danish terms and conditions, with the exception of the mandatory conditions that follow the terms and conditions of the country from which the customer makes the purchase.

Payments 

We offer the following payment options: VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, PayPal, Google Pay and Apple Pay. 

When paying by card, the payment will be reserved on your account in accordance with the terms of your card, until we withdraw or reject the payment.  

The amount is deducted when the item is dispatched.

If several items have been ordered in the same order and one or more of the items cannot be delivered immediately, we will only deduct the payment for the item(s) when the items are dispatched.

We offer delivery of goods to addresses in many EU countries.

Stock items are delivered within 5 working days after you order. See the item's delivery time on the individual product on the web shop. 
 
We offer the following delivery options: Depending on which country you want your order sent to, the providers are different. Check out with which delivery companies we cooperate with in each country here
 
Furthermore, we offer free shipping, when your order exceeds either 100, 120 or 150 Euro. The amount depends on which country you want your order sent to.

Right of cancellation 

You have the right to cancel your purchase without reason within 14 days. If you have purchased several items in one order, you can choose to cancel the purchase of some or all items. We do not refund delivery costs for partial cancellations.  

The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day on which you or another person whom you have chosen to receive the goods (but not the carrier) get physical possession of the goods.  

If you have ordered several items in the same order and we cannot deliver the items at the same time, the cancellation period begins when you get physical possession of the last item of your order.  

If you have ordered several parts or batches, the cancellation period runs from the day you get the last part or batch in physical possession.  

If the deadline expires on a public holiday, Saturday, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve, the deadline is extended to the following weekday. 

 

 

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal 

There is no right of withdrawal when purchasing goods that have been manufactured to your specifications or that have been given a distinct personal touch, such as clothes that are printed according to the customer's wishes. 

The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following products if the seal has been broken: 
 

  • Bike computers 
     

  • Power meter pedals 
     

For reasons of food safety, food products cannot be returned. 

 

 

How to use your right of withdrawal 

You regret by giving us clear notice that you regret your purchase. You can either send us an email stating your regret to [email protected] or by giving us a call at tel.: +45 70 20 93 00. 
 
You cannot cancel by refusing to receive the item or by failing to pick it up without giving notice that you cancel. 
 
You may use the statutory standard cancellation form, which is reproduced and placed at the end of these terms and conditions, but it is not mandatory. 
 
The cancellation period has been met if you send your notice that you regret the purchase before the cancellation period has expired. 

 

 

Returning the item and the returning costs 

If you regret your purchase of an item, you must send or deliver the item to Bikable, Industrivej 5, DK-9575 Terndrup without any undue delay and no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you wish to cancel your purchase. The deadline is met if you return the goods before the expiry of the 14 days. For the return of all goods that can be returned by regular post, you as the customer must pay the return shipping yourself. You can do this by contacting our customer service here
 
Items such as bicycles, work stands, bike racks, trailers and similar larger items cannot be returned by ordinary post. The costs for returning the goods are expected to amount to around DKK 500 at most. 

 

 

Refunding of your money in case of cancellation  

When you cancel, we will refund all payments received from you relating to the order or parts of the order that you have chosen to cancel, including any relevant delivery charges. However, this does not apply to extra costs when you have chosen a delivery method that is more expensive than the cheapest form of delivery that we offer.  

If you have purchased several items in one order and regret only part of your purchase, we will not refund the delivery costs.  

We will refund the amount without undue delay and in any case no later than 14 days from the date on which we received your notice of cancellation. However, we can withhold the amount until we have gotten back the goods, or until you have sent documentation that the goods have been returned.  

We will make such a refund using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any case, you will not be charged any fees as a result of the refund. 

 

 

Condition of the item and the packaging upon return 

You are only liable for a possible deterioration in the value of an item which is due to handling of the item other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and way of functioning. You may examine and try the item in the same way as you can and would in a physical store. 
 
You must return the item in the original packaging. The packaging must be opened but not broken. If the packaging is missing or damaged, this may constitute a decrease in value for which you are liable. 
 
You should also ensure that the item is securely wrapped when you return it. You hold the risk for the package/goods yourself until we receive them. Therefore, save the postal receipt as well as any track and trace number. 

 

 

Right of return 

When you shop at Bikable.com, you have a 365-day return. The right of return is conditional on the item being returned unused, in unbroken packaging and in undamaged condition. You are responsible for the return shipping costs. 
 
The right of return does not affect your statutory right of withdrawal described above. 
 
The right of return period starts when the statutory withdrawal period expires.

Complaints 

If you purchase a product, digital content or a digital service from Bikable.com and it has a defect, you have the right to make a complaint. A defect may be, for example, a material or manufacturing defect or incorrect information about the product. Normal wear and tear or damage caused by improper use is not considered a defect. 
 
You may submit a complaint regarding defects in the product for up to 2 years from the time of delivery.

We ask that you contact us within a reasonable time after discovering the defect. If you contact us within 2 months after discovering the issue, the complaint will always be considered timely. 
 
If the complaint is justified, we will reimburse your reasonable shipping costs. Therefore, please keep your receipt. 
 
Please describe the issue in as much detail as possible and, if possible, include photos of the defect.

Dispute resolution  

If you have a complaint about a product purchased from Bikable.com, please contact our customer service first so we can try to resolve the issue. 
 
If we are unable to resolve the dispute together, you can find information about consumer dispute resolution options within the EU on the website provided by the European Commission: https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/

Gift cards 

Gift cards for Bikable.com are valid for 3 years after the gift card is issued. Any residual value can be redeemed for up to one year after the gift card expires.
