The tire has been developed with Shark Skin, which is a fabric with high density between the tread and the interior of the fabric. This gives the tire good protection against punctures but also keeps the weight down on the tire.

The sides of the tire are also protected against punctures with the help of a Shark Skin layer, which is integrated into the tire.
