Ultra E-bike is Lumos' newest helmet aimed at cyclists who want a helmet with a visor and is approved for electric bikes (NTA 8776). The Ultra E-bike has 110 LED bulbs distributed with 30 at the front, 13 on each side of the visor and 64 at the back of the helmet - this provides full 360? coverage and ensures that the cyclist is seen by motorists from all angles.
The Ultra E-bike also has turn signals, which are activated using the supplied remote control or an Apple Watch. The Ultra E-bike is equipped with a click-dial fit system to ensure it sits securely, yet comfortably, on your head. Adjustable from 54-61cm via the click-dial fit system, the Ultra E-bike fits most adults and teenagers.
Optimally placed lights
It is scientifically proven. Lights placed at eye level are more visible than traditional bicycle lights. With 110 integrated LED bulbs and designed to provide 360? visibility, you will be more visible to drivers all around you.

Your integrated turn signals can be activated using the included Lumos remote control, which is mounted on the bicycle handlebars.
Light On/off
After pairing the Ultra E-bike to your iOS/Android app and its included handlebar-mounted wireless remote, activating its light is as simple as a single push of a button.
The light is switched on and off via the on/off button on the back of the helmet. Repeated presses of the button allow you to choose between three different light modes. Your last selected light mode is stored in the Lumos Ultra E-bike's memory and is automatically activated the next time you turn on the light in the helmet
Lumo's app
Through the app, you can program the flashing patterns for both the front and rear lights in each mode, or you can just use the default settings: quick bursts of three flashes, slower individual flashes, or a non-flashing constant mode. Neither the app nor your smartphone is required after the initial setup.
Flashing lights
To activate the turn signals (which are also the tail lights), simply press the L or R button on the remote control. The LEDs on the corresponding side of the helmet will start flashing yellow, while those on the other side will be steady red. In addition, the helmet beeps constantly to let you know the turn signal is working, with a series of single beeps for left turn signal and a series of two for right turn signal (The sound can be turned off in the app) To turn off the indicator, simply press the button again.
Remote control (Bluetooth) for controlling the turn signal function
The extra advanced Lumos Plus remote control (LU-1011) contains an accelerometer which is used to activate the helmet's brake lights. Using the app, you can adjust the sensitivity of the accelerometer, plus you can choose whether you want the lights to flicker or glow yellow when you rapidly decelerate. However, having the brake light activated reduces battery life, but as I said, it can be deactivated via the app.
If you don't use the Lumos Plus remote (and just stick with the standard remote), you won't have the brake light function.
The remote controls are supplied with rubber bands in different sizes so that it can be attached to any handlebar diameter and the remote control can be turned in all directions and therefore fits any handlebar shape.
Apple Watch compatible
If you have an Apple watch, you can pair it with the Lumos Ultra E-bike and thereby control the turn signals by simply lifting your arm (Gesture Recognition).
Extreme ventilation
The Ultra E-bike is designed with 22 ventilation openings with deep internal channels. They help keep you cool on hot days, but at the same time the rest of the helmet's design provides protection against the cold on cold days.

Lumos Ultra E-bike lights cannot be approved as bicycle lights in Denmark because Danish legislation requires that bicycle lights be mounted on the bicycle itself and may therefore only be used as a supplement to bicycle lights.
