Chain Juice Dry is an advanced, hard-wearing chain lubricant that is specifically designed for use in dry weather conditions. Unlike other dry lubricants, it contains a lubricating element that is suspended in a bio-degradable, highly penetrating solvent carrier. This carrier rapidly penetrates between the pins and rollers of the chain, delivering the lubricating element to where it is most needed. Once the optimum penetration has been achieved, the carrier evaporates, leaving a thin, dry film that prevents loose, dry debris from sticking to it. This results in a cleaner and quieter chain.

It is important to note that Chain Juice Dry is not formulated to leave a thick oily residue on the chain. Using a thick, wet lubricant in dry, dusty conditions can create a sticky, abrasive paste that can damage your drive train. Therefore, it is in your best interest to use Chain Juice Dry to protect your bike and save money in the long run.

To achieve optimal performance, it is recommended to apply Chain Juice Dry to a degreased and dry chain. First, use Dirt Juice Super Gnarl with The Dirty Little Scrubber chain cleaning tool to clean the chain. Rinse the chain with fresh water and let it dry for as long as possible. Then, unscrew the nozzle and pierce the security seal. Re-attach the nozzle and open the flow valve only a small amount to avoid over-application. Rest the nozzle on the rollers of the chain and slowly back-pedal the cranks for two complete revolutions while gently squeezing the bottle to apply a thin stream of Chain Juice Dry to the chain. If the lubricant is dripping on the floor, you are applying it too quickly.

Because of the way Chain Juice Dry works, it is best to apply two to four thin layers, allowing a few minutes between each layer for the penetration and evaporation process to take place. It is also recommended to lubricate the chain after cleaning your bike, rather than just before starting a ride, to allow for maximum performance and to prevent corrosion.
