X-Sauce wax is a chain lubricant that helps you get a bike that rides better.

It is wax-based and has been added PTFE - Polytetrafluoroethylene - which helps to reduce the friction in your driveline as much as possible.

With a wax treatment of your chain, you no longer have to be annoyed that your chain looks dirty, because when X-Sauce is placed correctly on the chain, it becomes repellent to water, dirt and mud.

It is important that you have a completely clean and dry chain when you apply X-sauce for the first time. You must therefore clean the chain completely - preferably with a suitable degreaser, so you ensure that there are no oil residues left inside the chain.

When the chain is clean and completely dry, you can put wax on. You only need to put 1-2 drops on each roll on the inside of the chain. Once you have given each link / joint in the chain, simply leave it until you need to use it.

It is important that you do not wipe the chain off right after you have lubricated, as the wax will not have time to dry and protect.

Once you have put wax on for the first time, you can subsequently simply wipe the chain over with a cloth, and then put wax on top.

The best thing is that you give wax when you have finished your bike ride - then it has time to dry before the next one. If you hang up just before your trip, it does not dry out and therefore has no effect.

You should lubricate your chain after 4-6 hours of use in dry weather, and more often when it is wet. After driving with it for a long time, you can also hear when it's time for a new round of wax.
