The Knog Scout alarm is a smart device that can be placed discreetly on your bike under the bottle holder.
It consists of a unit with two holes that fit a standard bottle holder mount. In addition, a yellow cover is included, which can be used if you want to make people aware that you have an alarm on your bike. Alternatively, you can not mount the cover and have a discreet safety, or you want to mount it under a bottle holder.
There are anti-tamper screws included that cannot be unscrewed with a regular screwdriver.
When this device is armed, the built-in motion sensor is used to detect the movement of the bike, and if there is movement, the alarm will sound at 85 decibels.
If your bike is still stolen, you can also track this device via the Find My feature on iPhones.
The Scout device is controlled via the Scout app available for the iOS operating system.
An LED on the device shows the alarm status as well as the battery status. The device is charged with USB-C and can last up to 6 months.
