The smart bicycle holder from TreeFrog is easily and quickly mounted on the car with suction cups.
It can be mounted on all flat surfaces, including cars with glass roofs, such as the Tesla. However, the holder cannot be used on sunroofs that can be opened.
These are the perfect choice if you want a bicycle rack on the roof, where other roof racks cannot be fitted due to a lack of roof bars.
The Pro holder can be used with everything from racing bikes to MTBs weighing up to 20 kg. both with rim brakes and disc brakes. Or with two E-MTBs weighing up to 24 kg. per PCS.
The included bracket can be used with front forks that have QR (9x100mm) and 15x100mm thru axle.
If you want to mount other front forks in the holder, you must use a different bracket for the holder (sold separately).
If you want to use it with 15x110mm, you can use the Boost spacer (sold separately)
Each suction cup can hold 110 kg. so once the suction cups are attached to the car, they stay firmly in place.
Five suction cups hold the large bracket in place, while a single suction cup for each bike holds the rear wheel with a strong Velcro strap.
How to mount the holder:
1. Remove the protective cover from the cups.
2. Clean the surface of the car as well as the suction cups with clean water with the included microfiber cloth.
3. Moisten the edges of the suction cups with lukewarm water and position the holder so that the front fork of the bike points straight ahead and the rear wheel points straight back.
4. The vacuum cups are mounted and deflated one by one, from one side to the other. It is normal that the holder does not necessarily follow the roof of your car 100%.
5. Pump until the white band is no longer visible and see that it continues to seal - Service the suction cup if one of them fails to seal.
6. Mount the bicycle's front fork in the holder at the front.
7. Place the suction cup under the rear wheel and mount it in the same way as the others.
8. Secure the rear wheel with the included Velcro strap.
9. Secure the pedal arm with the additionally included Velcro strap.
The Max speed with the holder is 130 km/h - the speed over road bumps should be 25 km/h.
The Pro 3 holder can be used with bikes weighing up to 20 kg. each - total load 60 kg.
Please note, if you have to transport two E-MTBs, only 2 bikes placed on each side of the carrier may be transported. (weight up to 24 kg. per bike).
