The knobs are large all the way around the deck. In the middle there are wide knobs, where in the second row they are angled alternately +45 degrees and -45 degrees and on the outside. The shoulder knobs serve to secure your grip when you throw the bike around the bend.
The tire can also be used for ordinary mountain biking, but it is a tire that is heavy to tread on and where the resistance is high due to the large knobs, optimized for looser or muddy ground.
The tire is 24x2.35” or 60-507 in ETRTO measurements.
The wide tires allow you to run at a lower pressure and achieve more grip.
