Schwalbe has updated their evolution line tires with a number of new casings, which make it easier to choose the right tire for exactly what you need it for.

The tire here is part of Schwalbe's Super Ground series, which is a series of all-round series. This type of casing is made to feel comfortable whether you are driving on a single track track or are out driving on gravel roads.

With Super Ground tires, you get the perfect combination of low weight, rolling resistance and puncture protection.

The outer layer of the casing consists of a layer of snakeskin, which protects against punctures. Next, there is a 3 layer of rubber coated material which goes across the deck, from edge to edge. This layer helps to stiffen the tire. Finally, there is a layer of protection along the rim, which ensures that the tire fits snugly to the rim, and improves its ability for tubeless setup.

Racing Ralph is, as the name suggests, a speedy cousin. The tire is designed for XC driving, and with its many edges can accelerate quickly. The edges of the tire have higher knobs so that you also have a good grip around the turns. The pattern design makes this mtb tire very quiet compared to many other mtb tires.
