Schwalbe has updated their evolution line tires with a number of new casings, which make it easier to choose the right tire for exactly what you need it for.

The tire here is part of Schwalbe's Super Ground series, which is an all-round series. This type of casing is made to feel comfortable whether you are driving on a single track or are out driving on gravel roads.

With Super Ground tires, you get the perfect combination of low weight, rolling resistance and puncture protection.

The outer layer of the casing consists of a layer of snakeskin, which protects against punctures. Next, there is a 3 layer of rubber coated material which goes across the tire, from edge to edge. This layer helps to stiffen the tire. Finally, there is a layer of protection along the rim, which ensures that the tire fits snugly to the rim, and improves its ability for tubeless setup.

Racing Ralph can be used for both front and rear wheels, but is specially designed for the rear wheel. Schwalbe has changed the pattern on the tire and made it so that there are several small knobs in the middle, along with the slightly larger knobs in the sides of the tire. It provides better grip in turns while having a low rolling resistance and fast acceleration. At the same time, the many small knobs in the middle of the tire give you a good grip when it goes uphill.
