Castelli's Endurance Evolution fabric is a high-modulus and very matte Lycra® fabric that feels extremely dry while providing just the right amount of compression. At the end of the bib shorts, Castelli uses a raw edge with vertical silicone stripes to keep the edge in place without the pressure that creates the dreaded sausage effect. The straps are stretchy enough to be pulled down for a bathroom break without removing your jersey and straps, while the fluid construction allows for crossing the straps in front or back, whichever works best for you. A good bib shorts requires a good chamois, and the women-specific KISS Air2 Donna chamois will provide good comfort without being too bulky.
