Dirtlej makes some of the best protection against the elements you can find. And of course it is in the high quality that the Germans are known for.
With a commute suit you are free to worry about the weather when you cycle to school, work or somewhere else. You simply put on your Commutesuit and cycle away.
The Commutesuit is waterproof, windproof and breathable making it the optimal choice of rainwear.
The water tightness is a whopping 20000mm.
The zippers are waterproof.
This new version has a better adjustment in the waist, which now sits on the outside of the suit.
Customization and adjustment options
To get an optimal fit, you can adjust your rain suit in several places. There is velcro adjustment at both the sleeves and legs.
In addition, there is velcro adjustment at the waist.
On the side of the legs, you can zip up the trousers and thus put them on outside the shaft of, for example, rubber boots.
The large hat can be worn over a helmet so you are well protected from the rain. In addition, it can also be adjusted around the edge and at the back, which pulls it slightly away from the face. In this way, you are ensured that the hat is not in the way of your view.
You can also choose to roll the hat up in the collar.
Extra details
To give extra visibility, there are 3M reflectors in several places on the rain suit. Both at the wrist, shoulder and ankles. Then you are guaranteed extra good visibility in the rainy traffic.
The Dirtlej Commutesuit is made from the same type of material as many other rainwear and therefore feels like a classic rain suit, just combined into a one-piece suit.
The Commutesuit doesn't weigh very much, only 500 grams for a size small. It can also be rolled up and stored in its own hood. Then it is easy to carry it in a bag.
The seat on the suit is extra reinforced where it comes into contact with the saddle so that it can withstand the wear and tear when you ride.
It is recommended to wash the Commutesuit by hand for the longest possible durability. It must not be tumble dried. Impregnate if necessary after washing.
The Commutesuit is large in size and there is therefore room for extra clothes underneath.
If you want a fit that sits a little closer, you can advantageously go down a size compared to what you normally wear.
See size guide for extra details on fit.
