The tire is a further development of their popular Marathon edged tire, which has now been updated so that it can handle the very special loads that an electric bicycle exposes its tires to.

The tire has therefore received Schwalbe's patented Smart Dual Guard puncture protection and is made with a new e-bike version of their Addix rubber compound - Addix E.
