The tread is developed for hard surfaces, where the tire needs to roll fast while still maintaining grip when the terrain changes between asphalt, compact gravel, and lightly loose tracks. Pirelli uses a ProWall casing with 120 TPI, which provides a flexible carcass with good sidewall support. The SmartEvo GR compound is chosen to combine grip, wear resistance, and low rolling resistance in one tire.
