The tire has a good pattern that can direct water and dirt away, so you get better grip.

In the middle of the tire, it is almost completely smooth, so you get a low rolling resistance and a tire that rolls fast. This makes the tire ideal for use on the mountain bike you use inside the city, and on ordinary country roads.
