The tire is made in Schwalbe's Super Trail construction, which in combination with the Addix Soft rubber compound provides a tire that is developed for the most demanding tracks and technical uphill and downhill runs.

With the combination of larger knobs on the side and lower knobs in the middle, you are guaranteed a very good grip in turns, while at the same time the rolling resistance is kept down when driving straight. The distance between the knobs has also been thought through, as the selected distance ensures that the tire "cleans" itself to a greater extent, so that mud and soil have a harder time settling in the tire and reducing the grip on the surface.

In combination with very good puncture protection, Schwalbe's Hans Dampf is therefore a very good choice for a high performance MTB tyre.
