The three largest chainrings are aluminum (CNC cut), the rest are in steel.

In addition, the three largest chainrings have the same number of teeth as the three largest on Shimano's 12 speed cassettes, so you get a gearing that is better spread out, so you have a roughly equal shift between all the chainrings.

The three largest have resp. 39, 45 and 51 teeth.
