As the first of its kind, it also has a tool-free cage and clutch assembly ? which means it can be both removed and upgraded. With an internal steel cage construction for extra robustness, it is built to withstand the challenges of real life. Like all Eagle rear derailleurs, it is equipped with a ground-breaking 'Hangerless Interface' that mounts directly around the wheel axle and provides direct contact with the cassette without the need for a gear drop.
