Vaude Karakorum Pro consists of three bags connected via the top. All three bags can be used separately: Take just one to the office, two for your weekend shopping or all three for longer trips where you need good organization. The top part can also be used separately as a daypack or bicycle backpack for city trips when you don't have much equipment. It also has an outer pocket.

Once the panniers are fully mounted on your bike, you can load your tent, sleeping bag or mattress on top with the clipped gear net. Rain covers for all three bags are included. The primary material in the bags is 100% recycled PET. The contrast material is also made from 50% recycled polyester and they have PFC-free Eco Finish water repellency.
