The new 12 speed front derailleur from Shimano in the Ultegra series has inherited the same technologies from its big brother Dura Ace.

?The front derailleur has a new compact design as well as a new motor inside the front derailleur, which has made the gear change even more efficient. It switches 45% faster than the R8050 series.

The front derailleur has a maximum capacity of 16 teeth, which means that you achieve optimal gear changes by not having a larger blade combination than 16 teeth.
