The Sram Apex groupsets have come to the cyclocross/road world and taken them by storm.

They have implemented the best parts from their popular XX1 group and carried it over to this group.

You therefore get 1 blade at the front and 11 gears on the cassette, but a gear spread that almost corresponds to 2x11 on a 1x11 set up!.

With only 11 gears, you only have the shifter on the right hand lever, so only the brake lever is on the left side.
