Shimano SLX M7100 Rapidfire Shift Lever for Front Derailleur.

The trigger in the SLX M7100 is on the left side and controls the front derailleur.

It is adjustable in position, so when fitted with a brake lever that is Shimano I-spec EV compatible. It can be pushed forwards and backwards, as well as up and down in the angle so that you get the best possible fit.

There is only one button on the trigger, so depending on which way you press it, whether it shifts up or down.

Compared to the previous SLX trigger, it is, according to Shimano, 20% faster.

It is light and responsive, so you don't have to use extra energy on your shifts, so you can keep control and concentration on the track.

The technology throughout the trigger is similar to that used in both XTs. However, the choice of materials is different, which makes the trigger heavier, the friction greater, and the accuracy of the various parts a little lower.

However, not everyone can feel the difference, precisely because the technology is so well developed.

A gear cable with the shift lever is included.
