The Equipe RSR S9 Bib Shorts are reminiscent of the RS model in many ways, but have a number of differences both design-wise and technically, which make this model the ultimate race model.

These race shorts have been developed with the idea of ??cutting out as much unnecessary and still having both high comfort and a nice design. Perfect for use on a home trainer as these are the most breathable shorts Assos have made.

The shorts are made with Assos' Type 701 material, which is an extremely light, thin, and elastic material that, in addition to good comfort, also has compression properties. The compression in the shorts provides good support for the muscles. Assos describes the feel of the material as so light and smooth that it is like an extra layer of skin.

The material is two-parted so that the inner layer almost makes a wrap around the body and ensures that the shorts and pad stay in place and the outer layer is the supportive elastic Type 701 layer.

The straps have also been redesigned so that they support better on the back but are still flexible on the front. The front is woven with an antibacterial carbon thread, which means that the braces lie flat against the body.

The padding is made with SuperAir microShock foam, which is a light material with high comfort. The upper part is made with 3D Waffle. to that is added the new KraterCooler technology, which makes the padding extra breathable. That combination gives what Assos calls "Total Assos comfort".

The pants have RS Superléger, which reduces moisture and provides better comfort.
