When Castelli set out to make these bib shorts, the idea was to create the shorts that Castelli themselves would reach for the moment they were dry after washing, no matter what type of ride was on the calendar for that day. First, Castelli found a soft, stretchy fabric that feels great on the skin the moment the bib shorts are put on. This fabric shapes and moves with the body without being tight or restrictive. Castelli paid extra attention to the fit to ensure that everything stays where you want it, but at the same time, added silicone at the leg endings. The mesh braces are stretchy and allow for extra ventilation. As a matter of course, Castelli has used their Progetto X2 Air Donna pad for good comfort. Some additional details have been added such as a rear pocket for extra storage and reflective inserts for increased safety. All this makes Espresso the upcoming favorite bib shorts.
