As is known from Shimano, the crankset is made of aluminum, and it is hollow inside, to reduce weight as much as possible.

Even though it's hollow, Shimano has still managed to make an extremely rigid crankset so you do not compromise on the power transfer to the pedals.

The crankset uses a 24mm shaft.

The design of the chainring has been changed so that they are only mounted directly on the pedal arm, and no longer on a spider.

It provides a more rigid construction and as well it saves on weight.

With Shimano's chainrings, you do not have to think about whether you have a standard, boost or superboost frame. It handles all frameworks with one system.
