Abus Aventor QUIN Bicycle Helmet. is the newest addition to the Aventor range.
The helmet itself has all the same features as the regular Aventor helmet, yet it is still an attractive choice for road cycling.
What is new about this helmet is the QUIN system that is built in.
QUIN covers a crash detection system that can alert your relatives in the event of a crash.
It works both on the road and in the forest on MTB.
The system works in conjunction with your mobile phone and works via Bluetooth 2.0. Should you be about to crash, the QUIN sensor will pick it up, and send a message to your mobile phone, which will then send a message to your emergency contacts.
The sensor itself contains 5 sensors and can be charged with a micro USB.
4 hours of charging gives about 1 month of battery life.
The sensor has raised-to-wake and therefore turns on automatically when you put the helmet on.
After 5 minutes of no movement, the QUIN chip goes into standby mode to save power.
The sensor can also be used to track your performance with the app QUIN for Abus.
TÜV certified, as well as CE-1078 approval.
Vertical and horizontal adjustment in the neck.
