AbsoluteBlack has made a fantastic wax with graphene that ensures low friction and a long durability.

The wax hardens to an almost solid surface when it dries on the chain.

Graphene is a perfect agent in chain wax but is not often used due to the higher price.

The advantage of graphene is the very low friction in all conditions, while at the same time being tough.

In addition, it is water-repellent.

This wax has been tested by AbsoluteBlack to ensure that you take a maximum of 5 watts due to friction for a full 900 km.

After 900 km. still works great, but you just want a bit more friction than 5 watts.

AbsoluteBlack says it can last up to 1800km in dry conditions without too much dust when applied in a warp wax bath.

The first time wax is added to the chain, do the following:

1. Clean the chain with a chain cleaner by placing it in a bath of chain cleaner for 20-60 minutes.

2. Pick up the chain and make sure it is free of all other wax and dirt.

3. Let the chain dry for 2-12 hours

4. Leave the chain in a bath of wax using a bag for 2-10 minutes (at least 30ml should be used. excess pour back into the bottle)

5. Shake lightly and make sure the wax hits all joints

6. Take the chain out and let it hang to dry overnight without letting the chain touch surfaces

When the chain needs to be waxed after the first time, do the following:

1. Wipe the chain with a cloth

2. Shake the bottle thoroughly

3. Apply lubrication to the inside of each link of the chain as it rotates

4. Let the wax dry for at least 2 hours or overnight.
