Mavic Cosmic SL 32 Carbon Wheelset.

The rims:

The rims are 32mm high which makes them suitable for mountain driving as they are quick to get up to speed.

However, they are also very suitable for driving on long road trips.

The rim is made of carbon fibre, which provides enormous strength together with unrivalled stability.

The rims are prepared for brake discs with a center lock.

Spokes:

There are 24 spokes in each wheel, all of which are made of steel.

The spokes are flat to increase aerodynamics.

The wide and stiff spokes also help to increase the overall stiffness of the wheels, giving you the greatest possible power transfer and the best assistance for acceleration after the hairpin bends.

Hub:

Both the body and the shaft are made of aluminum to give a low weight, but still with good strength and stiffness.

There are sealed bearings in both front and rear wheels as well as cassette housings.

The cassette cover is for Sram and Shimano 9, 10, and 11-speed road cassettes.

Both front and rear wheels are for 12mm thru-axle, but can be converted to 9mm. quick release with the supplied adapters.

Weight without tires:

The front wheel weighs 692g.

The rear wheel weighs 807g.

In total, the wheelset weighs 1499g.

It is recommended that the rider and bicycle together do not weigh more than 120 kg. together.
